Prior year stats

Donna Clem 6 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 6 years ago 1

How do we access a single page type spread sheet of class enrollment/attendance of prior year, so that we can determine what classes we need this year?  We may want to combine or divide classes based on prior year participation.

Answer

Hello Donna,

You can access your attendance from last year here: https://myanswers.com/vbs/manage/4849/attendance-report/.

Please note that the print feature on this page is currently bugged (it is being worked on!), so for now, you'll have to get all the information off the website manually. For each day, click the class to see the breakdown between students and volunteers. The total you see for each day includes both students and volunteers.

Blessings,
Arthur

Answer

Hello Jeanette,

I just checked on your VBS event, but everything looks good regarding your access. It shows that you claimed your code on Jan. 13, 2020, 2:09 p.m. Here is the direct link to your VBS event's dashboard: https://myanswers.com/vbs/manage/9351/.

If you are still having issues accessing it, could you please provide more specifics, like what page you are on, and what (if any) error message you are seeing? Thank you!

Digital access

Kristin Perry 6 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 6 years ago 5

Can you help me with my account? We are trying to access the digital package and the system keeps saying we need to upgrade. We bought the Super Starter Kit + Digital: Cont + Digital Pro and they system keeps giving error messages and will not allow the access for the digital stuff other than the guides.

Answer

Hello Kristin,

I checked on your event and can confirm that you have activated the access code for the Mystery Island Super Starter Kit + Digital Pro on Jan. 13, 2020, 10:06 a.m. Please note that these codes are single-use unlocks, so you will see errors if you try to use expired codes. Here is the direct link to your Mystery Island VBS: https://myanswers.com/vbs/manage/9344/.

The digital package is all there! If you continue to have any issues with VBS Digital, please let us know!

Bulk download whole unit or lesson

BethP 6 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 6 years ago 1

Is there not a way to download a whole unit or at least a whole lesson at once?  I don't see anywhere to download a zip file or a single PDF with everything.  This is my first time using your curriculum and I'm trying to prepare/print all the files I will need for this unit and just spent so much time downloading each individual file I needed.

I'm hoping maybe I missed it or it's a feature for you to consider in the future. Thanks!

Answer

Hi Beth,

We currently have two ABC Resources pages, the new one (https://myanswers.com/edu/resources/) and the old one (https://myanswers.com/edu/resources/v1/). The plan is to phase out the old one but the new one still has some content gaps (such as not having the bulk lesson download), so we've retained the old one for now. Please feel free to use it to download the full lesson resources.

Blessings,

Arthur

Please note that you may be asked to enter your church information for use in the watermark that is on the PDF downloads.

view past purchases

laurenashcoen 6 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 6 years ago 1

How can I view my past purchases?  What do I click on to see what our church ordered last year?

Answer

Hello Lauren,

You can view your account's order history here: https://answersingenesis.org/account/orders/. That said, if the order was placed over the phone or with a different email address, it won't show up there. In that case, you can call up Customer Service at 800-778-3390 or email them at custserve@answersingenesis.org, and they should be able to provide you your past order information.

Hi the new update won't let me download the lessons or add a class.

Anna 6 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 6 years ago 2

Hi! I am trying to download the lessons for my teachers from the resources tab (or add a class so that they can see the material) but neither function is working. When I try to download (formally print to pdf) if gives me a 404 error code on the sheet that prints. When I try to add a class, it says that the feature isn't available yet. HELP :) I have one week of lessons but then I need to have the following week prepared for my team!

Best,

Anna

Answer

Hi Anna and Clint,

Sorry to hear you are encountering difficulties with the ABC Resources. This week we rolled out the new version of the ABC Resources, designed to better integrate with our upcoming ABC Digital service (currently in early access). Unfortunately, there were some unforeseen issues that led to usability difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience that was caused.

As we continue to make improvements to the new system, we have retained the old one, for now, located here: https://myanswers.com/edu/resources/v1/Clint, you should be able to download everything you need from that page.

Anna, regarding the printing issues and the 404 error code; we are aware of the issue (it only affects some lessons) and have a task to investigate and resolve it as soon as we can. It will most likely be early January due to the holidays coming up, however. You can use the old VBS Resources page at the above link as well.

Please let us know if you need help with anything else or have any follow-up questions.

Blessings,

Arthur

I'd like to be able to preview lesson resources before downloading, please.

Shauna 6 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 6 years ago 1

When I click on the lesson resources it automatically brings up save as.

Answer

Hi Shauna,

Thanks for contacting us with your feedback! We really appreciate it. We don't currently support what you are requesting, but we do understand that having all the resource downloads collected in large .zip files is not very user-friendly, especially for those with slow or metered internet connections. We do have an improved ABC Resources page in the works, but I can't speak as to when it will be complete.

Blessings,

Arthur
