Is there a way to designate that the grade on the form is the grade "entering"and not current?
You could rename the age groups to be something like "Entering 1st Grade," "Entering 2nd Grade," and so forth. That would be done from the "Age Groups" page in the settings section.
Another option would be to include a message on the form. This would be done from the "Forms" page in the settings section. You can create a new field on the student form labeled something like "Note to parents." You would want to define it as a "Display Only Text" field type, and enter your message in the content box. Once created, you can move it to just above the age group field.
video embed
Can you provide the embed code for the VBS video? We'd like to post it on our various media channels separate from the public page.
We have that video available on YouTube. You can embed the video from there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQNvokvEoBw
attachment
Is there an option to attached additional form for parents to sign-off on? i.e. health forms or permission forms? would be great to have this functionality. thanks.
We don't support attachments, but if you put the documents on a publicly accessible place on the internet you can link to them.
On the Promote page, there is an :Edit Student Welcome Email" button. Click that to edit the message that appears in the email and the "Thank You" page that appears following registration. If you put full links (including the http:// or https://) in your message they will appear as clickable links.
Registration page - Registration button
I have had more than one person say they can't access the registration page however I think it may be the registration button. Is there any way to make it "idiot proof"? You know like adding a "'click here to register" phrase or something. I am thinking they may not realize it is a button.
Thanks for your feedback, we've passed it on to the design team to look into making the registration button more prominent on the public page.
Also, if you add /register/ to the end of your public page URL you can give people links directly to the registration form.
Public webpage url
When I try to test my public webpage URL, I get a redirect to a director checklist page...not the public webpage. hillcrestjamestown.myanswers.com/vbs/
The bug that prevented public pages named "vbs" from working has been corrected.
can i add a pdf to the registration form?
I would like to add a PDF of our registration information packet for parents to print after they register; either to the reg form or to the student reg confirmation email. Is this possible?
I have good news. We discussed this, and have implemented a way for you to include hyperlinks in the "Thank You" pages and emails.
If you include a full link in the text of the student or volunteer email (starting with http:// or https://) it will now be turned into a clickable link on the confirmation page and email.
Theme
Is there a date when other themes will be available, specifically Ocean Commotion? Thank you!
We just released the Ocean Commotion theme. It is now available for use. Let us know if you run into any difficulties.
Student Registration Download sorting
Can an option be added to download the Student Registration in order by Date Registered (with the Date/Time Registered field in the last column) in addition to a listing in alphabetical order? Or just include the Date/Time Registered field in the the far right column so that it can be sorted after download?
additional classes, subcategory of ages
Is there a way, on my side (not the on-line registration side) to set up classes in each grade? For example. Grade 1: Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, etc. ; Grade 2: Class 1, Class 2, etc. Thanks!
Yes, that's correct. Teams are used to further organize students into multiple classes per grade.
To add a grade level, the knowledge base says you can edit the field.
I would like to add a few grade / age levels to our group, but the field is not set up to allow me to edit this.
