When you are creating a new VBS event, you are given the option to clone the customizations from your previous VBS events.

If you decide to do this, please let us know and I can re-update your email fields to be required on the registration forms.

Certain registration fields are locked because renaming or removing them would cause other dependent parts of the system to break. These fields are set to optional by default so they don't have to be filled in (but they do have to be on the page), but if people would like their fields to be set to required, we can do so in the backend.

I've set the email fields to be required for your student and volunteer registration forms.

I just checked on the permissions setup in the backend and it doesn't currently allow for granular permissions among the various roles, so it is all or nothing for students, volunteers, teams, etc. Further breaking apart the permissions and improving the coordinator roles and permissions is is something we definitely want to add, but our development resources are very limited at present. When we do get some more help I will be sure to prioritize presenting that as an area that needs work.

In the meantime, the Teacher role only gives access to the digital library, so you can use that if your people just need to be able to download resources.

Partially, yes! Some of the elements like the buttons can't be translated, but If you upgrade to at least Digital Plus, you can edit the fields on your registration forms to add a second language. You wouldn't be able to update the header text on the forms yourself, but I would be happy to do that for you if you send us the text to add.

Hi Laura,

I can help you with that! The class starts with lesson 1 by default, but if you select a different starting lesson it will jump ahead like that. I've reset your class to start with lesson 1 on Feb. 6; please let us know if you need anything else!

Not at the moment, no, unfortunately. We did used to have profile icon customization for directors and coordinators under user settings, but that feature appears to have vanished. It is still in place for volunteers and students under the team settings, though.

I have created a task for our UX team to investigate and will keep you apprised.

To incorporate them in your ABC Digital schedule, just postpone your regularly scheduled lesson to push it off a week or two (depending on your plans) and that will create a gap in your schedule so it will remain accurate.
