Hello Martha,
To require an email address you will need to edit the registration forms. From your Dashboard, click on Promote and then under the Public Page, click on Edit Registration Forms. From there all you need to do is change your email field to required.

There's no option on my family information or volunteer registration to make it required. Am I overlooking something? Thanks. :-)
Hi Kelly,
Certain registration fields are locked because renaming or removing them would cause other dependent parts of the system to break. These fields are set to optional by default so they don't have to be filled in (but they do have to be on the page), but if people would like their fields to be set to required, we can do so in the backend.
I've set the email fields to be required for your student and volunteer registration forms.
