Hello Donna,

When you add teachers to your classes they can see the resources for the lessons in their assigned classes. The current implementation is a 5-lesson access window, but before the full launch of ABC Digital we will be expanding that to include the full ten-lesson units in the window.

If your church ordered physical materials, there are access codes in the teacher's books that are usable on the ABC Resources page here: https://myanswers.com/edu/resources/. These unlock the supplementary material such as music, videos, and PowerPoint files.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Blessings,

Arthur

Is there a way to add multiple locations/campuses?

Ross 5 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 5 years ago 1

We have multiple locations that meet and some at different days/times. I love the idea of using this ABC digital solution to for all classes but wasn't sure if there was a way to setup the different locations and days/times?

Answer

Hello Ross,

We ask for your organization address so it can be used in the watermark on the PDF files. We don't currently use the address as a way of distinguishing between classes, so, for now at least, please put the main business address of your church in your organization information. Class meeting time is unique per class, so you would just need to set up a different class for each meeting time/location.

We are discussing expanding support for multiple locations/campuses within one broader organization, but I can't promise anything at this time.

Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Blessings,

Arthur

is it possible to make the actual reading parts of the lesson bigger on the page and the Index part smaller?

portcitykidztown 5 years ago updated by myedr43 5 years ago 1

seems it would be more feasible for the lesson to be bigger instead of the page been halved, Just a thought. Thanks for what you all are doing we at Port City Church really Love your curriculum.

Answer

Hello, you aren't able to access lesson 102 yet, as we currently have a limited amount of content (Lessons 1-62) available as a starting point, but we also expect to have the next 60+ lessons available within the next two weeks, by the end of September.

We will send an email letting everyone know when the next chunk of lessons is added.

Arthur

“I really like this idea! I teach adult women on Sunday and young children on Wednesday night... -Easy to take on my iPad! -Easy to print what I need! I do, however, print all of the Bible verses so everyone has a copy helping them to keep up and write notes... (My adult class) (easy with a Bible app) First impression: There are some assumptions... 1-It doesn't say the time of class, just time, but the next page does ask date you start using this. (This is from the first time you add class...) 2-It also assumes that you have enough time to get a full lesson in one class period... I don't have an hour, but I do want to give the full lesson... I look for a good stopping place and save the rest for the next week... Will the finished format take in this consideration? Now that I have this format, I will use it and see it in action:) I'm very hopeful! Thank you, Sara Gardner ”

Answer

Yes, we will soon be adding the ability to skip a week. When we do, you will be able to adjust the schedule for your weekly lesson so that you can finish up the current lesson before starting the next one.

I love that the teacher's can now easily preview the lesson supplements using this digital software. One question that has come up....could there be an option to print the lesson illustrations in color? Thank you!

Answer

Hello Ann,

We didn't convert any of the illustrations to black and white, so if you're seeing them like that, it was intentional (such as the coloring sheets). If they are in color and your printer is printing them in B&W, that is a printer setting that needs to be changed.

We also noticed that you created a new class for each lesson; that runs counter to the rotating lesson access module, as well as causing more work to set up each lesson. The classes are meant to house all the lessons for each grade being taught, and will automatically update the access window to be 1 past, 1 present, and 3 future lessons once the lesson is over. Just wanted to let you know you're doing more work than you need to.

Blessings,

Arthur

This is exactly what Ive been looking for. Ive used the previous version all the way through the Bible. A lot of what youve done with the online tools is what I was doing on my own. Using this will be way easier! Thank you!!
