How do I change the Theme of the VBS for this year
Our church secretary told us about your website and suggested we use it for our VBS this summer. We're using the group program "Maker Fun Factory".
Attendance after the fact
No one tracked attendance on the director page last night during vbs. Is there no way I can enter the attendance for last night today?
Our apologies for the inconvenience, but no, that's not possible right now. We do have plans to add retroactive attendance tracking (among other improvements) to this feature—we are certainly not finished with building it out—but I can't make any promises or give a time frame for when we'd get to this specific improvement.
WHY CAN'T I DOWNLOAD RESOURCES?
it would be such a help if we could import last year's info into the following year. i.e.. Welcome letter, student and volunteer forms, schedules
We are planning to provide an easy way to reuse your VBS Director information for next year's VBS.
Unfortunately, the our previous platform (VBS Manager) is significantly different to the point that we can't provide any automated migration from that platform into VBS Director. Our hope is that the benefits of the new tool outweigh the initial setup required.
We plan to continue improving our MyAnswers tools like VBS Director moving forward, so rest assured that you won't have to do this again anytime soon.
Hidden form field
I would like to add a form field that will be hidden to the volunteer registering (i.e. Background Screening Complete). I need to be able to check when complete as well as use it to sort list? Right now all I can sort by are roles. How I have been working around this is to export spreadsheet, then sort by column. I was hoping I could sort inside Director and then send mass email.
Maximum enrollment
What happens if maximum enrollment is reached for an age group? Does it close that age group availability for our VBS, or create another group, or what?
Thanks for including all the info on the student page. But do the big pictures of a boy or girl need to be there? When I go to print the info it makes for a lot of pages. We like to have a paper copy on file.
