Registration Form Required Fields

VBS Manager User 8 years ago updated by Brad B. (Answers in Genesis - Web Development) 8 years ago 2

When testing the registration form, I noticed that if I mistakenly forgot to enter a response for a required field, it is not very obvious. It would be helpful to have in big, bold, red letters to let registrants and volunteers know they are missing a field, otherwise, it gives the misleading impression that the registration went through, when in fact it was never recorded.

Form Fields

VBS Manager User 8 years ago updated by Brad B. (Answers in Genesis - Web Development) 8 years ago 5

Is there a way to delete certain fields in the forms (i.e. Age Group Selector)? There are several field in the forms page that are not editable. It would be very helpful to enable that feature.

Thanks!

Student Registration

UCity 8 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 8 years ago 3

While testing the active student registration, I noticed that there are two required lines for the address under Family Information (as in "Address line 1", "Address line 2"- where both lines are required to complete registration). When I went to try and fix this by editing the form, there was only one field for "Address". Can this be fixed so that the second address line is optional?

Answer

This has been corrected. Required address fields no longer require that "Street 2" is filled in.

Where do I edit the student and volunteer registration form?

anonymous 8 years ago updated by Arthur L. (Answers in Genesis - Business Analyst) 6 years ago 6

The task says that I am able to edit the student and volunteer registration forms but I cannot find where.

Answer

Hello Cameron,

You can edit your registration forms from the Settings page (Dashboard --> Settings --> Forms). You can access the age groups from the Settings page as well.
