I don't think this should be marked as 'Answered' until the actions associated with the issue have been taken and there has been user notification. Marking a question as 'Answered' clears it it from your queue when the issue is still very much 'Open'.

Hi Zion. I am concerned that I haven't heard back from you yet. This is extremely important. Can you tell me when this will be done? Can you give this a high priority as this is an important organizational role?
